Paraguay President to visit Peruvian Congress on Tuesday

Jul. 03 (ANDINA). Paraguayan President Fernando Lugo will visit the Peruvian Congress on Tuesday, July 6, as part of his two-day state visit to Peru.

Paraguay's Fernando Lugo will pay an official visit to Peru on July 5-6 with the aim of strengthening bilateral and regional political and economic ties.

During his visit to the Peruvian Congress on Tuesday at 11.00 hrs, the Paraguayan leader will meet with Congress President Luis Alva Castro and Congress members Cecilia Chacon, Michael Urtecho, Antonio Zapata, and Luisa Maria Cuculiza.

President Lugo is also scheduled to meet with his Peruvian counterpart Alan Garcia Perez and sign a series of bilateral agreements.

Lugo will return to Paraguay on Tuesday at 18.00 hours.
