The President Alan Garcia on Sunday expressed his colleague Chile, Sebastián Piñera, their solidarity and satisfaction with
confirmed that all 33 miners trapped for 17 days in a mine in the north this country are alive.

The message was transmitted through a telephone conversation from
the Chilean ambassador's residence in Lima, Fabio Vio, where he was
Garcia along with his foreign minister, Jose Antonio Garcia Belaunde, said the
press office of the Presidency of Peru.

Furthermore, the Peruvian president expressed his condolences Piñera
by the death of her father Eduardo Morel, father of first lady Cecilia de
Piñera.
